We have compiled the glossaries in accordance with the structure of the two volumes of The Practitioners’ Guide to Applied Comparative Law and Language (in which we cover 19 fields of law and introduce them from the US, British (English), German and Austrian perspectives). Thus, the terminology used in the four introductory chapters of any given field of law has been digested and constitutes the principal corpus of the English – German and German – English glossaries.
